/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – US Trail Running Conference organizers announce that the popular webinar series for race directors and event organizers returns in 2024 with a new name. The series will now be known as the RD Master Class Series, and will start in February and run through September with 9 engaging sessions. The RD Master Class Series is presented by Marathon Printing, Inc.
Thanks to the generous support of Marathon Printing, Inc., the USTRC RD Master Class webinar series is free to access for all participants, with registration options for individual sessions, or the complete series. The series is arranged in partnership with the American Trail Running Association.
Each session in the enhanced new series will contain content to enable participants to master key compliments of directing or organizing a race. Experts in the field will deliver step-by-step details and provide takeaway information of how to successfully create their own components and processes using tested methods from the expert panelists.
The first session takes place on February 8, 2024 at 10 am MT, and covers a Mastering Social Media Workshop. Registered participants will receive step by step instructions on how to create a FB advertising campaign, including how to link Google pixels, and understand data from the campaign, in addition to creating Instagram stories using templates. The Master Class webinar has been created to help race directors and event organizers create effective marketing campaigns on the top social media platforms to generate significant growth in registrations.
This first session will feature Alex Ross, the Director of Digital Marketing for the Denver Colfax Marathon. Over the past decade, he has helped the race grow registration numbers so that it now regularly sells out, and has also established a consultancy business to help races grow their registrations and their social media campaigns. He is also an ultra runner himself, including finishes at Leadville 50 and a 100 miler.
The 2023 USTRC Webinar Series exceeded organizers expectations with an average of more than 130 participants for each session, and a total of 198 unique participants. Session recordings were viewed more than 575 hours, a 15% increase over 2022, and 100% of participants surveyed said the webinars empowered changes to future race plans.
