BOSTON, MASS. /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – In an exciting development for endurance athletes, Spartan Race, the global leader in obstacle course racing, is thrilled to announce Redwood Outdoors as the Official Sauna and Cold Plunge Partner for its upcoming Seattle and Los Angeles races. This partnership marks a significant step forward in enhancing the racer experience, offering participants state-of-the-art services that are integral to their performance and wellbeing.

Redwood Outdoors, known for their superior outdoor saunas and cold plunge pools, will set up an exclusive activation area at both races. “Racers can stop by the Redwood Outdoors activation for best-in-class sauna and cold plunge services,” said Brian Cox, Director of Global Partnerships at Spartan. “This partnership allows the Spartan community access to engage with recovery processes that are typically reserved for professional athletes, bringing a new level of excellence to their race experience. We’re excited to bring Redwood Outdoors into our community.”

The collaboration between Spartan and Redwood Outdoors first demonstrated its success at the Spartan Austin race in May, where racers were given the opportunity to experience firsthand the rejuvenation and recovery benefits provided by Redwood’s premium offerings. The positive feedback from participants underscored the importance of recovery in the endurance sports ecosystem, further cementing the partnership’s value to the Spartan community. As racers prepare to conquer the grueling courses that lie ahead in Seattle and Los Angeles, they can now look forward to a recovery experience that also matches the intensity and spirit of Spartan racing.

“Redwood Outdoors is excited to partner with Spartan to help racers recover faster with the benefits of fire and ice contrast therapy.” said Summer Burt, CMO at Redwood Outdoors. “Incorporating the healing heat of a sauna and the invigorating cold of an ice plunge into your health and fitness routine offers numerous health benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, enhanced muscle recovery, stress reduction, and a better mood. The synergy of combining both practices amplifies these benefits, promoting holistic health and well-being.”

Redwood Outdoors invites you to discover the perfect blend of design and optimal health. At the Spartan event, attendees can experience the MiniCube 2-person and Barrel 6-person saunas, followed by a refreshing dip in the Alaskan Cold Plunge, chilled to an invigorating 38 degrees.
